  • Always One Step Ahead – Frank William Abagnale inspiration

    I don’t actually see movie like everyone I know around, but I do love to go all out attack on any action packed Sci-Fi thriller, along with some crime and investigative movie. They teaches me two things;

    1. New and ground breaking ideas for my niched profession.

    2. Psychological effect of reasoning in life and business matters.

    I have seen many movies ranging from Captain America, Merlin, Flash, Intelligence, Agents of SHIELDS, Person of Interest to name but few series while I have been able to see GOLD (strictly on starting up your own large scale business from small scale mode), American Made, Valerian, and host of others.

    I have learnt quite a lot from all of them but to add to my list of inspirational materials. Catch Me If You Can is the next on the block for me. While I’d not condone the graphical expression in the movie, there are lots, and in fact, a whole lot of ideas in it. One main take home from it for me is staying one step ahead of the rest. Irrespective of how life has treated, or what would’ve happened to you in life, the quickest solution is not to give up on your bigger WHY! You just need to stay close to yourself and on top of your game because with time, it will pay off.

    Big thanks to my friend and business partner, Saka Olatunji Yusuff for recommending this powerful movie. If not for Him, I’d not have learnt about some of the new ideas and gem hidden in that two and half hour long action packed movie.

    The storyline and the character was beyond my expectations…Frank William Abagnale Jr invincibility is top notch.

    No matter how smart you are as a check fraud investigator, hundreds of you alone cannot match Frank William Abagnale Jr well planned heist. He is always one step ahead of the pack. He reads his way into the top of every profession he found his hands on. He is an American security consultant known for his history as a former confidence trickster, check forger, and impostor between the ages of 15 and 21.

    The film is a true life story actually. It teaches self development and self believe. Always try to be one step ahead of the rest by reading your way into greatness and abundance.

    Remember, you can never beat someone who never gives up on his dreams.

  • Dascoin; Not Enough Hype?

    Why Dascoin paychecks aren’t everywhere and why you should care!

    As much as Dascoin and the wonderful people behind the vision doesn’t like people showing off PayChecks in order not to create too much hype around the Blockchain. I think I might need to one day set a balance between the two — that is to say — I will show some little evidence to some of THOMASes around and at the same time prevent people from having a wrong orientation of what Dascoin and Net leaders is set to help us (we humans) achieve around the world of Blockchain technology.

    The ideology behind this is that, the management and board of directors doesn’t want too much fake hype around the Blockchain because it is going to be around for a very long time. Take note of this line.

    So, why adding too much hype around something that has power to even outsell itself.

    St. Louis sugar has not many sponsored publicity, yet it sells like something else. Why add more SALT when the stew is already garnished with the best of condiments?

    Why add more?

    Get me correctly, people are (and will still going to be especially when the first smart contract goes live next month) making quite a lot money in Dascoin either by using the service on the Blockchain or by being an advocate of this groundbreaking solution to some of the world’s financial challenges.

    But the reason for not posting pictures of paychecks is our own way of abiding by the agreement of not allowing negative energy to set in. **wink**

    Make your money, spend it the way you like. It is your choice but do not mislead people by showing off.

    But if you want to see evidence, you can have a FYEO (for you eye only) privilege to look into what the future may hold for you by not mission this wonderful flight to the promised land of freedom from government policing and injustice going on in our universe.

    Be thankful to all those who said NO to you. Most of the times, they didn’t do say it because of any emotional attachment. In fact, they might even intend to say Yes, but said otherwise.

    It is just normal and that’s how life is.

    Know this today, if you give up because of that, you are only doing yourself a disservice.

    However, if you take the bull by its horn and move forward, you’ll find that peace and drive to get it done by yourself without their help.

    Think about this, when you do it by yourself, you’ll be proud of your achievements than when they gave you a lift and claim the glory in the later days.

    My friend, don’t get mad when you don’t get your expected YESes but NOs, it means you are on your way to the top of the ladder of success. Getting to the top of your career isn’t a child’s play. You have to work your way up there and it takes process. Sacrifices are meant to be made on your way to the top. You might need to lose sleep by reading over the night, you might need to take extra classes for you to pass that difficult course. Your decision to go the extra mile would help sharpen your mind towards the responses you get. Confidence are built upon accumulation of knowledge. Get busy and make your next generation proud of you.

    Yes or No, the end result is all that matter most – and that depends on you!

  • September to remember!

    Welcome into the month of September…it is emberically going to be great month for you and your loved ones. Everything you have been running after all through January fastforward to August that is, as at this moment, yet to be in your arm, I strongly believe you will catch them all in multiple folds in Jesus name.

    Listen carefully, this new month is your month…I want you to believe that and put your faith to work on this.

    Start thinking about your kind of car, the house you’d like to build, the kid’s school, and every good things you have been thinking of becsuse they will (not just would) all come to pass in September.

    I want to also encourage you to change your mindset about the EMBER months. It is emberically going to be amazing for you and your loved ones.

    We shall end 2017 well.

    Disruption everywhere – disruptive technology is a new business model and it is time to get your cut of the pie!

    Disruption is not just a trend, it is a new business model!

    Disruptive technologies is taking over the world of commerce and it is even going far beyond business by touching every aspects of our daily lives. It would be shameful to assume nothing is happening around us.

    The winds of change everywhere around us is signalling the end of an era and the rise of a new revolution, welcome to the era of disruptive technology!

    Few years ago, it was Nokia 3310…I remember how costly it was to own the then most popular phone, Nokia 3310 and other Nokia series. Sooner than expected, the disruptive model that be in the world of technology innovation ignited a change and today, you have the iPhones, the Android powdered Infinix, Tecno, Samsung, and lots other upcoming indigenous brands.

    Ages ago, no WiFi, I remember we are accustomed to browsing through a cable line networks like the defuncted Starcomms, Multilinks and the government owned Nitel which was later sold due to the changing game of the industry. But today, there is MTN (which was acronymized then by me then as Mountain Transfer to Nigeria…you know the drill now…lol), Globacom, Econet (then Zain and today it is now Airtel). All these development are credits to disruptive technology sweeping away old thinking pattern by replacing it with newfound knowledge and discoveries for the betterment of the masses.

    I can still recollect that to open a web page then, it will take lots of time, and to download a 50MB file then, you’d have to wait for like 30-45 minutes with consistent failures.

    What about automobile industry…?

    It was then TOYOTA HIACE with the tagline MA TOYOTA EST FANTASTIQUE that we see all around us, and anyone who could afford such can be term comfortable by the looks of it. But fast forward to 2017…you have great cars that runs faster than anything you can find around. The Lexus, the Hondas, the Hyundais, and the recent least of expensive fleets embedded with automation technology – that’s disruption of the first order for a car to drives itself without any human intervention.

    From manual to automatic steering, and tomorrow, Tesla is already planning to launch cars that flies into the moon. So also is Bartini planning an unmanned Blockchain based taxi services where you could travel to the space without cash, all expenses paid via your blockchain powered cryptocurrency! Can you imagine that?

    By 2020, some of the top world leading nations of the world are envisaging a carbonless economy, so they are bent on reducing fuel consumption and the effect of CO2 on our planet. That means, more cars will run on nature-powered technologies such as solar energy, water (H20), grass, wind, and host of other natural resources would be used to power the future cars that is going to be manufactured for that era. Unfortunately, Nigeria is still depending on oil as our standout export product, but I pray we will look elsewhere soon because fuel-less car are going to be everywhere and nobody would consume fuel like before anymore.

    Talking about drone technology?

    The age of taking blurry pictures has long gone – today, drone technology is been used in photography, video production and so many other to aid production and delivery. In fact, the picture quality of an aerial recording at times are much more beautiful than the one manually recorded with camcorder. That’s just little I can talk about drone…and when it comes to spying on others or monitoring your environment, you have a companion in flying drones – because this friend could travel as far to a distanced location to bring you news of what’s happening there while you’re right on your couch.

    What else again? I don’t know, but if I should continue with this, I won’t stop as early as possible because it is painful to know that your world is changing when you are incapacitated to effect much change about it. The government aren’t thinking about it either, but I strongly believe that as many as possible that would want to elevate themselves from the challenges that would emanate from these development, article like this should point them towards the right way.

    Disruption is everywhere and disruptive technology is a new business model and it is time to get your cut of the pie!

  • Just ONE reason is more than enough to get your EAGLE!

    Stop telling me 1000 reasons I can make millions with your company. I’ve done that again and again already!

    Cut the long story short.

    ….just give me ONE reason why I need support the cause, and from there take it to the next level.

    Countless of times, many people in their bid to get or lure people into their system, try every possible thing that is possible; promise upon promises. Exaggeration comes in different styles, and level of desperacy can easily be seen on their face.

    But do we really need this before we can attract the right minds into our businesses?

    Heaven No!

    You don’t need too much convincing effort, whereas, you just need a little bit of educating these people about the benefit OF, and WHY they should consider, joining your army. Show them the future you are dreaming about with them in it. I mean, real one!

    When I’m talking about the future, I am not referring to the type where you’d be missing in action because this has been very common in our industry lately.

    Stop recruiting lazy minded people by being real with them. Those with big dreams would join you assuredly, take note of that.

    And if you factor in Pareto principle, you needn’t everyone, just few chosen army are enough for you to lead to the promise land.

    Tell stories of how it works for others, it is great strategy, but don’t get lost along the way without revealing WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE to achieve such feat.
