There’s a giant that’s waiting to be challenged and sparked into action. You just have to TRY just like Patrick Brasca and Jay Chou puts it in the song they co-sang titled “Try”. Borrowing lines of thoughts from the Kung Fu Panda 3’s epic animation soundtrack;
“You always have to do something to show the world that you exist. So you have to try. There’s a universe right there waiting to be unlocked. The key lies in looking into yourself. Just do what is right and you will fly so high. Let go off the brakes. Be who you are. Be yourself cause your power is on. When you believe in what you’ve got, you know you’re perfect just be who are you.”
Actually, those who give up lose. Only strong people are respected and admired.
To trick the world don’t show your weaknesses!
Of cause, everybody can be upset or disappointed, however only close people should know about it, but only if they are able to support and help you. Other people don’t care about your problems. Recover your forces in the comfortable atmosphere and go ahead! Act! Remember you are the main character. And you are responsible for everything. The results of your work will depend on your efforts and the way you choose.
Final word: There is no place for weak and lazy people.

Amazing, splendid, interesting…and FUNTASTIC are my definitions for my trip to the most popular city in the northern part of Nigeria. From now on, I will be documenting everything worth learning from my Kano trip.
Ride with me as I unveil the mission and project tagged “AIM Kano Trip 2016”.
Before I continued, let me quickly hint you. Firstly, this happens to be my first longest rail trip ever. I’ve been on several train trip across some part of the country! But, they’ve always been within a state, not an interstate trip. Secondly, this kano trip helped me in inching closer to achieving the set-goal of touring 10 different States of the Nation, as announced in my article here. Thirdly, this trip would mark what would be remembered as the beginning and birth of new and #6 Alliance In Motion office in the country – AIMGLOBAL KANO OFFICE.
DAY 1 (Friday 22, January, 2016)
Boarding the train has never been a new thing for me, but being on a First Class seat happens to be my first time experience.
DAY 2 (Saturday 23, January, 2016)
Still on the train…just passing Kaduna and getting close to Kano. It is going to be an overnight journey again.
DAY 3 (Sunday 24, January, 2016):
We entered the ancient city of Kano at exactly 9:55am a brighter Sunday morning. The train station was so busy. We met caliber of people from different tribes conversing in their native languages…I was able to get along by learning few of the greeting lines such as: How are you? – Ya Kake How is business? – Ya Kasuwa How’s family? – Ya Iyalinka My friend, how are you? Abokie, ka m Kake What do you say? – Ya Kache.
And host of others…the experience was just too amazing.
People say Hausas aren’t friendly or they hate other tribes, well I wont dispute that but what I’m sure of is that, that is far from the truth in most cases. Hausa people are friendly, only for one thing, and that is, they don’t like to cheated or challenged either wrongly or rightly.
They are very receptive and have good respect towards strangers in as much as you can communicate with them a little. Language barrier may play its own role in how they’d welcome you, so take note of that.
Fast forward to the Day 30th of my entire Kano trip was an amazing one. I’d have come back to Ibadan by air enroute Kano airport but the more I postponed my traveling, the more the flight tickets price increased.

Last week, I drove into a fuel station for a refill. My car has a fuel tank capacity of about 60 litres. While the pump attendant filled my tank, a motorcyclist also rode in to the second pump. Before I knew it, the motorcycle was full and the rider rode off while I was still at the pump.
I got in before the motorcyclist but he left before me. It suddenly occurred to me that it would be absolutely silly of me to think “I got here before him. How come he is leaving before me?” Why? Our capacity is not the same.
The truth is there are times in life when we are stuck at the pump of divinity. Those who came in behind us have gone ahead of us; those who learnt from you seem to have outrun you; those who graduated years after you are now the ones calling the shot and it seems as though you are stuck.
Could it just be that your capacity is bigger than theirs? Could it be that your own assignment needs longer preparation? Could it be that your character is being formed for the task ahead?
You do not know what you need. Only the One who designed the journey knows what is important. Why don’t you hold on? You are in competition with no one, but yourself!
People will often say my mates are doing this…..
my mates have done that ….. my mates have this… My mates are now…. But I’m still here doing, having, nothing….
It is important to know that you spent nine months of formation in your mother’s womb alone and you were given birth to alone except if you’re a twin. Therefore never classify anyone as your mate. You are in competition with no one, but yourself!
God’s dealings with/in your life is never an estimation of what is happening in the life of your friend or colleagues. God’s dealing in your life is VERY PERSONAL and unique and should never be an estimation of physical and tangible things.
Take your gaze off other people’s path and concentrate on the race. You WILL earn your own medal!
My Note
The fact that the world are going towards the right at the T Junction of Life doesn’t mean that’s the only way towards achieving your success; you can turn aside and think it through because going left might just be the right decision for you. You are not born empty, you are loaded and there’s need for you to maximize your potential by taking time to sharpen your axe in order to go far. Imagine yourself as someone traveling on a long journey who needed to make sure that everything is in order, compared to someone who doesn’t care whether the car tyre is punctured or not. Who do you think would go far between you and the other guy?
Don’t allow other people’s instant results to defraud you of your harvest. You are in competition with no one, but yourself! Work on yourself more than you do on other things.
You are meant for greater things beyond this generation.
Gratitude ought to be an everyday attitude of the living.
There’s no other time to be thankful and grateful for the gift of life and grace to still be on this great planet earth!
I’m overjoyed when I recount some of the great and amazing achievements God has sent my way over the cause of my short stay on this beautiful planet. I have so much to rejoice about for what God has done for me, it is because ”I am alive’ that you are reading this piece from me.
Where there’s life, there’s hope, there’s still more reasons to make things happen – those who are dead cannot make any more impact on the universe, it is the living who can change the propeller of life from been drowned off due to life challenges.
Like I said earlier, I have a whole lot to be thankful for. Here are some of major achievements of my life this year and reason to be grateful. I hope to achieve more by the time I clocked 30!
Gratitude for ‘living beyond limitations’
Ever since I’ve come across this powerful and inspiring motivational quote by Marianne Williamson, an extract from her short book, “Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of ‘A Course in Miracles‘,” my self-confidence level had tremendously increased, and I’m a step further excited about life. I think it worth sharing with you guys.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
If you can read this quote from beginning to the end, you’ll agree with me that there’s nothing in this world that could stop you from achieving greatness except you!
