In life, there are certain things that may block your promotion in life. To succeed in life, you need to do the right thing the right way and today, I will be talking about steps you need to take for your promotion not to be blocked.
1. I TOO KNOW
The Bible says, wisdom I’d profitable to direct. Lower your ego so that you can speed faster in life. Having an I KNOW THAT ALREADY attitude won’t take you anywhere far but at your present position. Or even worse, backward. Attitude will certainly determine your altitude in life. You cannot have the mindset of an expert and still expect to be taught how to get things done rightly. For you to be well taught and be of good example as an expert is to take out time to be an under study to someone. Even if someone ahead of you is your younger brother, you’ll still need to be humble to learn.
2. LOOSED TONGUE
You can’t pray but you can talk. A loosed tongue can constantly shift your promotion forward, it will not retain it.
God alone has capacity to know and hear what you have not said. He can read your thoughts. Only say what is necessary. Life will be sweet if you make it so and minding your tongue is one of the easiest ways to fast track your promotion in life.
Watch your tongue. Proverb 13:3
3. FAMILIARITY
Familiarity can block your promotion. That was what happened to Gehazi. He believes he’s the next in line for the double anointing of his master. He misused this privilege by disobeying his master all in the name of FAMILIARITY!
Learn not to take things, opportunity, people for granted because you seems familiar. The truth, my brother, is, you’re wrong. You aren’t familiar at all.
4. LACK OF PREPARATION

If you are not prepared, you’ll not be promoted. Read wide. Maintain your relationship with people of influence. Pride is killing many of us because the youngest among you, you never know where they’d end up. Wealthy people are not proud.
You do not know when your benefactors will notice you…what you do today has been registered into somebody’s heart towards the future.
Your time is counting.
5. LACK OF GOOD RELATIONSHIP
Be in relationship with people that can be instrumental to your future.
Joseph in the prison didn’t man up and act as the boss but he was serving people in the prison. Are you serving arrogantly?
Church is a place where you come and be refined. After you’ve gone through the refinement, you’ll say this is not my real face ooooh!
6. PRIDE
Don’t turn yourself to brother DIMOWO. This life is simple. Do not let pride take you out before your set time.
7. EMPTY PRAYER LIFE

Have good manner. Respect yourself and mind how you address others.

What we deal with in the world is performance. It doesn’t matter the amount of years you’ve spent. What you need to do is to respect anyone that is sent across to be your leader. Hierarchy in the church must be respected. When you seat where our pastor supposed to be seated is disrespected.
The gap between the Assistant Pastor and the Pastor is the Wife of the Pastor. Respect the wife of your pastors.
5. Marriage
If you don’t carry the church along, don’t expect the church to be involved. You’ll need to write the church officially.
