Network marketing shouldn’t be a professional some folks fight others in other companies for. Come look this industry ten years ago, you fit fight then?
No, because you could hardly find few positive thinking people that could say yes to you. Then you pray one day people could be well aware of the industry as forecasted by expects then.
Fast forward to 2017 and henceforth, we could see myriad of companies springing up here and there with one promise or the other.
Yes, I mean promises – either to make you rich overnight or to buy you that dream home or maybe, help your kid grow in a serene environment of your choice by giving you tool to make that possible etc.
Promises are promises. Some of these companies are fulfilling these promises while some are just pain in the a** because they left you worse than they met you.
But still, the industry is growing because that was our prayer then – that;
ONE DAY, BANKERS WILL NOT JUST CALL US LAZY MINDED PEOPLE, but instead, they will say; THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL WORTH ASSOCIATING WITH.
Today, we are seeing high profiled people from all works of life standing out to showcase the industry — I mean, people you wouldn’t have taught could be linked to the word NETWORK.
Call it what you like to satisfy your soulful argument, NETWORK MARKETING is well misunderstood by the many and yet we are still recording great success stories of people buying dream cars, traveling places they could never have taught of.
BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM many people are failing to see about this industry…
1. GREED IS GROWING MORE WINGS DAY BY DAY
Largest majority of so called networkers are selfish and greed infested. I stand to be corrected, there is no perfect being on this earth. And if you think you are, you better run back to God and ask for forgiveness because there is none holy. But the point I am driving at is, there’s no crime in doing what is right for YOU, but when making those decisions, always look around and far away, who and who stands to gain and lose from these decisions.
It is very rare for a human being to make decision that would put Himself into a tight corner (nonprofitable decisions), we always want to win. That’s good because God created us to win and be the best. We inherited EXCELLENCE from Him as our Lord, ultimate FATHER, and creator but we should forget not that in line, it is all about WINNING AND LOSING.
As a network leader, prepare for both. Lose to move forward, to learn from the past while win to also still move forward.
2. WE BUILD TRUST FOR COMPANY OWNERS WHILE WE FORGET OURSELVES
Networkers forget so easily that companies come and go but people will always remain, hence they fail to build relationship for long term sake. Instead, they build structure based on just hitting that target sales volume, hitting that trip or car award while forgetting to reward the efforts behind those successes.
3. AND WE CRY FOUL ALWAYS
Once you make mistake in keeping your brethren, I mean your partners happy in your existing business, I personally don’t think there should be any reason to cry foul play if you found them jumping camp or looking elsewhere to satisfy the hunger for the beautiful dreams you’ve shown and promised them in the first place.
You don’t police or carjole people into thinking your partway is only the way to achieving their life goals. No, never do such. The best you could do is to try to keep your sheep together under one roof which might prove somehow difficult anyway. But immediately one of the flock is going astray, check yourself before pointing fingers because you never can tell who is at fault until you analyse the incidents surrounding it.
Instead of always been the MR. HOLY, you better work towards mending the bridge and say sorry when necessary and move on. Good, you can recruit like mad, my sister or brother, if you still don’t cut this bad habit you will still continue to experience the same thing for a very long time.
One quality person you lose from your team (I mean people in your mastermind) has the capacity to turn your life around for the next generation to come and same way, has the same capacity to do otherwise.
Stop loosing your flocks to greed, be selfless and try to do network marketing the way it was meant to be practiced – as an humanitarian focused means of distributing value around the world in which you are well paid back for the value rendered.
4. LOVE IS DEMINISHING – HATE IS INCREASING AMONGST NETWORKERS
Quote this, “every beautiful day, Love is deminishin and hate is increasing amongst network marketing professionals because of failure to understand the word Me from We”
The earlier we understand this word, the better we help project this industry for the beautiful future ahead. We need to encourage ourselves, irrespective of the company you are for.
Fight me over this, all companies are the same! They are all created to solve one particular need or the other in anticipation for profit. No company was created solely to distribute naira or dollar notes on the street of Lagos.
Brother, let’s wake up. We have to do the work to get the medal.
But some companies are well structured in a way that there marketing plan is more humanitarian than the others. That is why some could quickly get along so well but that still does not mean NO WORK is required.
Once we have this understanding, we will stop hating and start loving.
When a fellow opposing networker raises a motion, hardly will you see others supporting because of the fear of people thinking He or She has decamped to the company that person belong to. Let’s stop this lest we spoil the industry we have fought hard to build.
We should all lift up our spirit irrespective of companies.
Let us stop giving companies power over ourselves…no company is bigger than its distributors and same goes, no distributor is bigger His/Her company when it comes to decision making.
It is when we live, work and collaborate in peace, that is when we can all have one voice to wave the sword of justice against injustifications going in our industry.
It is time to wake up great networkers of our time.
Save this professional because there’s nothing worth comparing to it so far. If you have got to change your life, you have got to change it.
