I know you were hurt. I know you don’t like to be lied to. You hate to be spoonfeed with lies and cheating isn’t that recognizable in your dictionary…
Many at times we get bitter at people, especially those who matter to us most and those who aren’t, when they lied to us, when they treated us so badly, when the government neglected us, when our neighbors refuses to play according to the rules, but instead playing towards our hurts.
In most cases, we found ourselves helpless, powerless, and hopeless in confronting these opposing entities. In fact, some people would rather take the law into their own hands by misquoting the bible verse “the kingdom of God stufferreth violence and the violence takes it by force” in order to justify their actions. Whereas there are many positive and effective ways to combat hatred, misjudgement, cheating and many other irregularities in the society without violence act.
Insurgency in the northern part of Nigeria and other neighboring countries like Niger Republic and Chad, has reached an all time high in records of death of innocent lives. All these in the name of fighting for one’s right? Then what would happen afterwards….
What really inspired this write up is an inspirational messaged delivered in form of rap and acting on Simon Cowell’s popular American Got Talent show by two young teenagers by name; sunday and John .
