LET GO: The Art of Letting Go for God To Rule and Reign In Your Life

In my early morning rising update today, I have something to quickly share with you. I was just browsing through my facebook wall, I stumbled upon something that caught my attention and I cannot just learn from it alone without sharing with the people I care most about.

My writeup is focused on teaching you how to let go of situations and circumstances that could consume you. Study and learn from the picture I posted below. Read to know why you should identify “when to LEG GO and when to HOLD ON.”

How To Let Go of What Could Consume You In Life

1. Know When To Act or Stay Still: Not all opportunities are to be taken. Why? Some are traps, or could lead you into one.

2. Reverse-Hurt Could Lead To Self-Destruction: A person can become so determined to destroy another person that they become blind and end up destroying themselves. You can decide to let go and forgive than to embark on a journey of no return in order to end a subject’s domination. You have not much to gain aftermath, and you could as well met your own death along the way. Let go and let God rule.

3. Understand Your Environment: You fight best in your natural element and environment. Here the bird has advantage in his natural element. The predator failed to realise this little fact until the last minute that things have gone overboard.

4. Know your limits, we all have them: It is good to have a stiff-necked attitudes towards achieving success or fulfilling your life dreams, but you should be careful when you are not so sure of the purpose of your actions. Like the predator in this image, the animal has forgotten the fact that the ability to fly was possessed only by the prey. It wasn’t given to all, hence, the need for it to stay back and let go.

5. Sometimes the best response to provocation is not to fight: Not all situations are meant to be reacted to. The bird was playing around unguided and free – the predator saw that and thought, it could take advantage of the situation.

But based on what we are all seeing right now between the prey and the predator, who’s winning?

6. Sometimes to accomplish something you need team work, you will not always win alone: There’s nothing bad in obeying the law of loneliness, but when it comes to achieving success, you can’t just do it all alone. If you don’t understand what I mean, ask Lionel Messi of  FC Barcelona, or Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid, or Eden Hazard of Chelsea if they could all be where they are today without their respective team players watching their backs. No matter how skillful you could ever have become in life’s field of play, if you don’t have team work in action, you’re loosing it already.

7. Stick to what you do best and don’t pursue what will kill you: After you’ve discovered that recipe that makes you the best in your field. You need to stay glued to that. People are looking to give offer great opportunity to people that has that attributes you don’t value yet. Why looking elsewhere for those things you do not posses that has tendency of destroying who you’d become?

“It is better to be a king in the jungle and be celebrated than to be an unknown champion where you’d not be afforded the kind of respect you deserve.”

Be the best in your craft and let the world celebrate you, if you are known for running fast in the jungle, never try to fool yourself by trying to fly higher like an eagle in the sky. It is good to aspire to be the best in your field of study or your calling, but putting common sense in motion in your life is the best medicine to achieving greatness in life; family, ministry, career etc.

Conclusion

If you don’t know when to take action, you may end up coming in late. Likewise, you also need to know when to let go of situations to let peace reign in your life. If you’re gonna play the game of life right, you’ve got to know when to roll the dice. And according to Kenny Rogers in his well-popularized and most successful song titled, The Gambler song, you gotta learn to play it right;

You have got to know when to hold the cards to yourself. Know when to fold the card to avoid other’s studying your moves. Know when to walk away from taking another shots. Know when to run without looking back. You never count your money when you’re sitting at the table.

Why? It is because there all be time enough for counting your gains when the dealing is done.
